Welcome to the Foresters Arms pub on the green in the heart of the village of Kirdford. Our pub is traditional and friendly and boasts character and charm in a fabulous rural setting in West Sussex. We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely pub soon!

Location

Kirdford is an idyllic village and civil parish in the Chichester District of West Sussex, near the town of Petworth. Brimming with history and character, the village is home to a Grade I listed 12th century stone-built church of St John The Baptist and the village centre has a recreation ground with a small pavilion, football pitch, tennis court and a stool ball area.

It’s also on several walking routes and footpaths through the South Downs National Park, as well as on routes for cycling and horse riding and indeed we have our very own pub walk for you to take away and enjoy…after a lovely Sunday roast of course.

PUB WALK

About Our Pub

The Foresters Arms is well known for its traditional home cooked food and even features a stone base pizza oven, which proves exceptionally popular with guests. With a friendly atmosphere, the pub is a focal point of the village and has a characterful interior, with wooden beams, stone and brick floors and a beautiful inglenook fireplace.

The relaxed village bar at the front of the pub has 20 covers, with a further 40 covers in the casual dining area to the rear, which also serves as an excellent function room.  In addition, at the rear, our large garden has previously won the coveted Hall & Woodhouse 'Garden of the Year' Award and features its very own petanque court, which is used at least 3 times a week and is one of the few courts in the south of England.
